I just got back from Portland. The main purpose for this time's trip was to watch "Exit From the Gift Shop." Since I am taking 2 digital arts class, I fell in love with Banksy. However, the movie was just disappointing.
The trailer sounded really like it's gonna be a documentary movie about Banksy. Actually, it's true that the movie directed by Banksy, but it's about a guy called Terri. After Terri met with some street artists as a filmmaker, he became a street artist getting inspired by those artists. The movies is about pretty much about Terri. Actually, Terri is not a real artist but a good business man. You can see it in the movie.
The movie is interesting in terms of what a real artist is like. But definitely it's not worth of $10. If you have time, I recommend to borrow a DVD to watch it.
